On Independence Day, 2005, the Lopez Village was shut down for hours by a suspicious looking “device”…
Lopez police and fire personnel were joined by off-island SWAT teams and bomb sniffing dogs who descended on the friendly isle. Mother and daughter team, Sorrel and Callie North, risked their lives—entering the "Frappucino Zone” to capture live footage as the great drama unfolded.
